PdxBro.EXE v1.0a 7/23/91 John Kesler 76012,1403 This simple Paradox table browser has been uploaded for the benefit of anyone who wants to learn from it. It requires VBRUN100.DLL, VBTOOLS.VBX, GRID.VBX, and the Paradox engine PXENGWIN.DLL to be on your DOS path. VBTOOLS.VBX is the runtime version of VBTOOLS and will not work in the Design mode and will report an out of memory condition if you try to use it that way. To keep the .EXE small as small as possible, the program is limited to 2 open tables at once. This version uses the beta version of a GRID control (modified by Jonathan Zuck to scroll) to display records. This control will allow you to resize rows and columns. However, any bugs or limits are not known to me, so I will be interested in any comments you have using the grid. The program also uses custom controls from MicroHelp in Roswell GA (404) 552-0565. There is an "alarm" that will go off after 10 minutes of program runtime. DblClick the phone icon to turn it off, or Click on it to get a 10 minute snooze button effect. The majority of the source code can be be found in the attached .TXT files. No MicroHelp source is included. Enjoy. john kesler 76012, 1403 Note: VBRUN100.DLL and PXENGWIN.DLL have NOT been included. ----------------end-of-author's-documentation--------------- Software Library Information: This disk copy provided as a service of Public (software) Library We are not the authors of this program, nor are we associated with the author in any way other than as a distributor of the program in accordance with the author's terms of distribution.
